Current opening hours;
We are currently open 7 days, 10am - 5pm.
Normally, the chocolate factory produce chocolates Monday - Friday (plus some Saturdays in the peak season) and the most action takes place late morning to early afternoon. You do not need to book, and watching the chocolatiers through the viewing window is free of charge. It’s a small working factory, not big enough for tours, with interpretive panels to explain what’s going on.
Please note these operating times are subject to slight changes (we are only human!) so please do not hesitate to phone in advance to check.
We can be found right on the seafront of Oban Esplanade, about 10 minutes walk from the central train, bus and ferry terminal, and less than 5 minutes walk from Oban Distillery. We are just beyond the north pier (with the red roofed buildings) and Oban yacht marina. Just keep the sea on your left and follow your nose!
On street parking is available though can be limited during the holidays. You can get 30 minutes free from the ticket machine or it is currently 80p for 40 minutes and this is monitored closely by Oban’s extremely efficient traffic wardens.....
For more parking, the Corran Halls car park is a 5 minute walk away. Public toilets can be found 2 minutes walk fro us at the North Pier (the building with the red roof).
