When will my order be dispatched?

We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 72 hours of receipt. Due to the handmade nature of our products at busy times, such as Christmas and Easter, dispatch may take up to seven days, however we will endeavour to dispatch your order as soon as possible.

How will I know when my order has been dispatched?

We use Royal Mail tracked service and once your order is ready and has been taken to the post office, you will receive a dispatch notification by email, indicating that your parcel is now with the Royal Mail and should arrive at its destination in the next 48 hours.

Can I choose a delivery date?

If you have specified a delivery date we will adhere to it as closely as possible however please bear in mind that we cannot perform miracles and that as we are making products to order (and aren’t Amazon) we will still need 48-72 hours from receipt of order to dispatch. For example, an order placed on a Friday will not generally reach its destination until the following Tuesday or Wednesday.

What about shelf life?
Under normal circumstances, if no specific delivery date is given the we will aim to dispatch your order within 72 hours of receipt so please bear in mind the shelf life of your chosen products. Many products have a 6 week shelf life. For example, we will not start dispatching Christmas orders until the end of November.

Will there be an invoice in the delivery? Invoices will not be put in with any order unless requested.

Which method of posting do you use? All orders will normally be dispatched via Royal Mail First Class tracked. Orders under the value of £40 will incur a postal charge of £4.95. Postage is included on orders over £40. The delivery charge is per address.

What if my order hasn't arrived? After receiving a dispatch notification via email from us you will get a tracking number (this sometimes goes into your junk folder so check there) In the first instance you should go on to the Royal Mail website where you can input your tracking number and see where your parcel is. There should also be photographic evidence of the delivery location. Check in any secure locations you have and it's worth trying the neighbours in case there's been a mix up. If you have input an incorrect or incomplete address then we cannot accept liability for non-delivery. Do you post to the EU?
We can post to Ireland without issue however since Brexit we have found it difficult to post to the EU (unforeseen charges, high rates of return and packages simply getting lost)

Do you post to America? Unfortunately, the uncertainty created by US tariffs on small items has resulted in our national postal service (Royal Mail) withdrawing the option of us sending our chocolates to America. Hopefully, normal service will be resumed next year.

Normally, International orders incur a postal charge of £20-30 which will be automatically calculated at the checkout stage once you have entered the delivery address. Occasionally, due to order weight (2kg max) and destination the cost can be significantly higher or lower than this. If this is the case, we will contact you on an individual basis.
