Barista - full time, permanent (or part time job share) POSITION FILLED
We are looking for an energetic, full time assistant to join our friendly wee cafe team. Experience in hospitality and barista training an advantage but not essential. Hours generally between 9.30am - 5.30pm with some weekend shifts included.
Shop assistant - part time, permanent POSITION FILLED
We are looking for someone with a sunny disposition to join our front of house shop team. Under the supervision of our shop manager you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, packaging our handmade chocolates and fulfilling mail orders. 3-4 days per week with the occasional weekend. Hours generally between 9.30am and 4.30pm with some flexibility.

Baker/Patissier -POSITION FILLED
We are currently looking for a full time, experienced baker or patissier (this could also suit 2 people on a part time job share basis)
You will be required to produce a high volume of baking etc from our in house bakery including marshmallows, jam, curds and meringue, whole cakes, scones, pastries, brownies and tray bakes, including cakes to accommodate dietary requirements such as vegan. Approximately 80% of your baking will be from following our set recipes and the remaining 20% can be your own creations (once approved by your manager). If you are more of a pastry chef than a baker or vice versa that’s fine!
The baker is required to set up the cake counter in the morning, cut cakes accurately into portions (ensuring that allergens are clearly marked), plus bake scones before spending the remainder of the shift baking for the next day. Hours generally fall between 8am - 4pm but there is flexibility around this. You will be required to work on both week days and weekends.
You will work closely with the cafe manager to ensure demand is met and wastage is minimised. You will also be responsible for ordering ingredients as required. You will work, the majority of the time, on your own in a fairly small space so you need to be highly motivated and self driven with excellent organisational skills. Full training will be given as and where needed.
